This Mandela Day, we marked a powerful milestone in our journey to invest in the future of education by handing over three newly built and furnished classrooms to Boschrand Primary School in White River, Mpumalanga.
This marks three consecutive years of our partnership with the Ride4Hope Foundation and the Nelson Mandela Foundation, using the momentum of the ride to drive lasting impact where it matters most – in our schools.
- • In 2023, we stood with learners at Isifisosethu Primary School in Standerton, building 3 classrooms, storage rooms, furniture, and fencing the foundation phase.
• In 2024, we expanded our support to Nomzamo Primary School in Kokstad, building classrooms, an assembly point, and earlier this year handing over a mobile science laboratory.
• And today, in 2025, we continue this legacy at Boschrand, empowering communities through safe, dignified learning spaces. - We were honoured to be joined by the Minister of Basic Education, whose presence underscored the importance of public-private partnerships in strengthening education in South Africa.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Department of Basic Education, the Mpumalanga Department of Education and all our partners for their continued support and collaboration.
As part of the day’s celebrations, our CEO, Mlandzeni Boyce, and partners also planted a tree on the school grounds, a living symbol of growth, renewal, and the deep roots we are planting in the lives of tomorrow’s leaders.
Each handover is not just a donation, but a declaration: that every child deserves a space to dream, to learn, and to thrive.
