The gas pipeline network code is a common set of rules which ensure that competition can be facilitated on level terms.
It governs processes, such as the balancing of the gas system, network planning, and the allocation of network capacity and governs access arrangements between the transmission company, ROMPCO, and those parties seeking to use the gas transmission system in accordance with the South African Gas Act of 2001.
